Energy ServicesWhen an organization, large or small, decides to be more environmentally responsible, they must measure their progress with relative performance indicators. Measuring energy and carbon performance must be paired with reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This class gives full treatment to carbon dioxide, the implications of carbon, a variety of conversion factors, how to report a carbon footprint, and the new standard in carbon accounting, auditing and management. An overview of emission improvement methods will be provided along with templates that learners can take back to their businesses to start their own climate action plans or sustainability initiatives. This class examines the three types of emissions throughout the GHG emission reporting industry: scope 1, 2, and 3.
