Advanced Photovoltaic

This course is the intermediate building block for persons entering the photovoltaic system installation, maintenance and technical sales workforce. The core competencies of this course are     directed at meeting the needs for training persons to work in the renewable energy industry and also meet the NABCEP entry level task analysis. Students completing this course will have the basic knowledge in the Photovoltaic market and application, solar     energy fundamentals, performance and design of basic photovoltaic systems, the electrical and mechanical requirements of photovoltaic systems, assessing the different photovoltaic system integration to existing and new construction electrical systems, and the maintenance and troubleshooting of photovoltaic systems.
